Lawyer · International criminal law and human rights

Argentine lawyer, born in Córdoba, specialist in criminal law and holder of a Master's degree in International Criminal Law and Transnational Crimes from the International University of La Rioja (UNIR, Logroño, Spain). She is a lawyer with the Argentine Ministry of Defence.

She has acted as defence counsel in complex criminal cases, including the "Caviahue" large-scale drug-trafficking case under the narcotics law, which originated in Cape Verde (Africa), and has represented senior authorities and political figures in the Province of Córdoba. She represents more than forty victims of arbitrary detention and torture in Venezuela, including the Argentine gendarme Nahuel Gallo, before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention and the UN Committee against Torture.

At EICC she brings her experience in criminal litigation, evidence and the international protection of victims to representation mandates before the ICC and the regional human rights systems.
